Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and any services you engage Contractor Alpha to provide.
Acceptance of Terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Contractor Alpha. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.
Use of the AlphaMAX software is also covered by our AlphaMAX Terms, and texts we send by our SMS Terms.

We provide website design and development, local SEO, paid advertising management, review/reputation management, and a reporting dashboard for local service businesses, as described on our Services pages.
Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing for any engagement are defined in a separate written proposal or agreement, not by this page. If the two disagree, the written agreement wins.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate business information, timely feedback, and any content (photos, copy, logins) needed to complete a project.
You confirm you have the right to use any content you give us, and that your business holds the licenses and insurance your trade requires where you advertise.
Your Website, Domain and Google Business Profile
Your domain name is yours. It should be registered in your name and your account; if we register one for you, we register it to you and hand over the login on request.
Your Google Business Profile is yours. You stay its owner; we are added as a manager only for as long as we work together, and you can remove us at any time.
The website we build for you is yours once the work has been paid for, along with the content you supplied (logo, photos, text) and the leads and reviews it collects.
A few parts may be licensed rather than owned (for example premium plugins, themes or stock photos under our license). We'll tell you which ones, and help you replace or relicense them if you leave.
Cancellation
Either side can end an engagement as set out in its agreement. When it ends, we hand over your website (a full copy or a transfer to hosting you control), your domain and profile access, and an export of your leads and data.
We remove our own access and tracking once the handover is done. Fees already paid for completed work aren't refundable unless your agreement says otherwise.
Payment Terms
Payment terms, billing cadence, and any guarantee for an engagement are set out in that engagement's own agreement, not by this page.
Limitation of Liability
We work to deliver the results described in your specific agreement, but marketing outcomes depend on factors outside our control (market conditions, competition, platform policy changes). We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law to be confirmed].
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
