Contractor Alpha ("we", "us") runs this website (contractoralpha.com) and AlphaMAX, the software contractors use to manage their leads, quotes, jobs and invoices (app.contractoralpha.com).

This policy covers information about visitors to our site, contractors who contact us or become our clients, and how we handle the customer data our clients keep in AlphaMAX.

When you submit a form on this site, we collect what you give us directly: name, business name, email, phone number, and anything you write in a message field.

If you use AlphaMAX, we also keep your account details (name, email, business profile, team members) and the records you create in it.

We collect basic visit data through our own first-party analytics beacon: pages viewed, referring source, device type, and general location (city/region, not precise). Our marketing pages also use the Meta Pixel, described under Cookies & Analytics.

We never see or store full card numbers. Payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe).

To respond to your inquiry, schedule a call, and follow up about the services you asked about.

To run AlphaMAX and the services you hired us for, and to send you account emails (sign-in, alerts, invoices).

To understand which pages and channels are working, so we can improve the site and our marketing.

We do not sell your information to anyone.

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we use it to follow up about your inquiry and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the providers who deliver the messages for us.

Contractors who use AlphaMAX store their own customers' details in it: names, phone numbers, addresses, quotes, jobs, invoices and messages. That data belongs to the contractor. We process it on their behalf and only to provide the service to them.

We don't sell it, we don't use it to market our own services, and we don't share it with other clients.

If you're a homeowner who dealt with one of our clients and you want to see, correct or delete your information, contact that business directly. If you contact us instead, we'll pass your request to them and help them act on it.

We use a small number of trusted companies to run our business: website and app hosting, database storage, text messaging and phone services, payment processing, and email delivery.

They get only the information they need to do that job, are bound by their own security and privacy commitments, and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a buyer if our business is ever sold, in which case this policy continues to apply.

This site uses a first-party visitor-tracking beacon to measure traffic and conversions for our own reporting and for the same reporting we build for clients.

Our marketing pages, ad landing pages and booking page also use the Meta Pixel, a cookie and script from Meta Platforms. It tells Meta when someone views a page, sends a form or books a call, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people likely to be interested. Meta may use this data as described in its own privacy policy. You can opt out of ads based on this in your Facebook ad preferences, or block third-party cookies in your browser. The Pixel is never loaded inside the AlphaMAX app.

AlphaMAX uses a cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for the app to work and isn't used for advertising.

If you arrive from a paid ad, we may store a short-lived identifier to attribute that visit to the correct campaign, consistent with standard advertising-platform requirements.

Data is sent over encrypted connections, passwords are stored hashed, and connected-account tokens are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell affected clients promptly if a breach affects their data.

We retain lead and contact data for as long as it's relevant to an active or prospective client relationship, or as required by law.

When a client leaves AlphaMAX, we delete their account data after giving them the chance to export it (see our AlphaMAX Terms).

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us using the details below. Depending on where you live (for example California, the UK or the EU), you may have further rights, and we'll honor them.

Our site and services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and tell clients by email if the change is significant.
